These terms are an agreement between you and Green Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates ooli: this website (playooli.com), the web games, the Parent Hub and the ooli app for iPad and iPhone (together, “ooli”). By using ooli, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use ooli.
1. Who can use ooli
ooli is made for kids aged 4 to 7 to play, with a parent or guardian in charge. Accounts, consent, purchases and settings are for adults only: you must be 18 or older, and the parent or legal guardian of any kid whose profile you create. You're responsible for how your kids use ooli on your devices.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address or with Sign in with Apple. Keep access to your email and devices secure, and tell us at support@playfulintelligence.co if you think someone else has used your account. Give us accurate information, and keep kid profiles to a nickname and an age.
3. The free version and ooli Unlimited
ooli is free to try, with some games and a daily time limit. ooli Unlimited is a paid, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks every game for up to 4 kids in your family. Current prices are on our pricing page and shown before you buy.
- Auto-renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
- Free trials. If your plan starts with a free trial, you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Bought in the App Store. Apple charges your Apple account and handles billing, cancellation and refunds under Apple's terms. Manage or cancel it in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
- Bought on the website. Stripe processes your payment. Manage or cancel your plan in the Parent Hub under Plan. If you cancel, you keep Unlimited until the end of the period you paid for. Payments aren't refundable except where the law requires, but email us if something went wrong and we'll do our best to make it right.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
There are no other purchases in ooli: no coins, items or extras.
4. AI-made content
Some content in ooli, such as stories, is made with AI inside templates we wrote, from picture cards a kid tapped. Every AI-made line is checked by our kid-safety filter, and we work hard to keep it kind, true and suitable for young kids. AI can still make mistakes. If you ever see something that isn't right, tell us at support@playfulintelligence.co and we'll fix it.
5. What ooli is, and isn't
ooli is a set of games that learns what your kid knows and plays at their level. It's meant to support, not replace, the grown-ups, teachers and real-world play in your kid's life. We don't promise any particular learning result.
6. Things you agree not to do
- copy, sell, rent or redistribute ooli or its content, except as these terms allow;
- try to get around the parent gate, time limits, payment or security features;
- reverse engineer ooli, or interfere with or overload our servers;
- use ooli to break the law or to harm a child or anyone else;
- use automated tools to collect content from ooli or to feed it into an AI model.
7. Ours and yours
ooli, including Rex, the buddies, the games, artwork, sounds, voices, writing and software, belongs to Green Labs LLC and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use ooli for your family, not commercially, while you follow these terms.
Stories and other things your kid makes in ooli are theirs to enjoy and share with family and friends. You let us store and show them to you and your kids so ooli can work. We don't use them for anything else, and never to train AI.
8. Changes and availability
We're always improving ooli, so games and features may change, and the early web games will go away after the app launches. We may also update these terms; if a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using ooli after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using ooli and delete your account at any time from the Parent Hub. We may suspend or end access if someone breaks these terms or puts kids at risk. If we stop offering ooli altogether, we'll give notice and refund any unused part of a plan bought on the website.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep ooli safe, working and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Green Labs LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim about ooli is limited to the greater of what you paid us for ooli in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Disputes
If you have a problem with ooli, please email us first at support@playfulintelligence.co; most things can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Green Labs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
